Are your candles scented all the way through? TOP
YES!
There are some candle companies who do only scent the very top of the candle. Once that is burned away, there is no scent in the rest of the candle which is why some candles you can't smell after the first time you burn them.
Our candles contain the maximum amount of fragrance oil the candle will hold and YES, they are scented from top to bottom! Why does my wick have a black ball build up after I burn it a while? TOP
That black ball, called "mushrooming" comes from the high scent load that I put in the candles. The wick sucks up the wax and fragrance oil like a straw, burning them and releasing the scent into the environment. When candles are highly scented, this will leave a build up on the burning wick. Simply extinguish the flame and trim the wick before you re-light! I like Pumpkin Spice, but hate orange! Can it be a different color? TOP
YES!
I do custom color candles at NO additional charge. I can not promise an exact match to your home decor, but will try!
Just put in the comments the color you'd like your candle to be and I will get it as close as possible. Of course, "Color my candle blue" should be clarified as dark or light blue for my benefit!
What is the difference in your wax and which is better? TOP
The Regular Blend means that this is the wax I use most often when making candles.
It contains anywhere between 50-70% Soy Wax and 30-50% Paraffin. It makes a very nice, creamy finish.
100% Soy Wax is an all-natural wax made from soy beans grown here in the USA.
It is traditionally a cleaner burning wax, but does not have as nice a finish as the Regular Blend. Typically, 100% Soy will be less smooth and have a whitish coat on the final product.
Both burn equally well, and distribute the fragrance equally well.
